Indian Institute of Management Raipur Admission Process

1. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) from a recognized university.
CAT Exam: Candidates must have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs.

2. CAT Exam

Registration: Candidates must register for the CAT exam through the official CAT website.
Exam Pattern: The CAT exam consists of three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).

3. Shortlisting for Personal Appearance (PA)

CAT Score: Candidates are shortlisted for the PA process based on their CAT scores.

4. Personal Appearance (PA) Process

Written Ability Test (WAT): Candidates write an essay on a given topic to assess their written communication skills and analytical thinking.

5. Final Selection

There are 5 hostel buildings within IIM Raipur hostel with a minimum accommodating capacity of 140 students. Hostels are allotted on a first come, first served basis. Students in the ePGP programme and those in the scholar programme at the institute have access to different buildings.
Rooms are available either on single sharing basis or double occupancy to students as per the availability. There are only a few double-occupancy rooms for PGP students.
