1. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories), from a recognized university.
CAT Exam: Admission to the MBA program is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT). Candidates must have appeared for the CAT exam in the relevant admission year.

2. Shortlisting Process

CAT Score: The first step in the admission process is the shortlisting of candidates based on their CAT scores. IIM Amritsar determines the minimum cutoff for each category, which varies yearly depending on various factors.

6. Program Commencement
