Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA) Admission Process

1. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).
Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in a national-level entrance examination such as CAT, CMAT, or MHCET.

2. Application Process

Online Registration: Candidates must register online through the official PUMBA website or the relevant entrance exam portal.
Application Form: Fill out the application form with personal, academic, and other required details.
Documents: Upload necessary documents such as mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, category certificate (if applicable), and passportsized photographs.
Application Fee: Pay the nonrefundable application fee through the specified payment method.

3. Entrance Exam

CAT/CMAT/MHCET: Appear for the entrance exam and obtain a valid score. Ensure you meet the cutoff score specified by PUMBA for that particular year.

4. Shortlisting

Cutoff List: PUMBA releases a cutoff list based on entrance exam scores.
Merit List: Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria are shortlisted and included in the merit list for further selection rounds.

5. Selection Process

Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates participate in a group discussion to assess their communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Personal Interview (PI): Candidates also undergo a personal interview to evaluate their overall personality, subject knowledge, and suitability for the program.

6. Final Admission

Merit List: A final merit list is prepared based on the candidates' performance in the entrance exam, GD, and PI.
Counselling/Admission Offer: Successful candidates receive an admission offer and must attend counselling sessions (if applicable) to confirm their seat.
Document Verification: Submit original documents for verification during the counselling session.
Fee Payment: Pay the required admission fees to secure the seat.

7. Commencement of Classes
