International Management Institute Admission Process

International Management Institute (IMI) offers a variety of management programs, including Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Executive PGDM, and Fellow Program in Management (FPM). The admission process varies slightly depending on the program, but generally involves the following steps:

1. Eligibility Criteria

For PGDM Programs:

A Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university.
Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply.
Valid scores in entrance exams like CAT, XAT, or GMAT.

For Executive PGDM:

A Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Minimum five years of post-qualification executive work experience.
Valid scores in entrance exams like CAT, XAT, or GMAT.

For FPM:

A Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks.
Five-year integrated Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55% marks.
Valid scores in entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, or UGCNET.

2. Application Procedure

Online Application:

Candidates must fill out the online application form available on the official IMI website.
Application fee payment through online mode (credit/debit card or net banking)

3. Entrance Exam Scores

Candidates must submit valid scores from accepted entrance exams (CAT, XAT, GMAT).

4. Shortlisting for Personal Assessment Process (PAP)

Shortlisting based on the entrance exam scores, academic performance, and work experience (if applicable).

Shortlisted candidates are called for the Personal Assessment Process which includes:

Written Ability Test (WAT)
Group Discussion (GD)
Personal Interview (PI)

5. Final Selection

Final selection is based on the overall performance in the entrance exam, WAT, GD, PI, past academic records, and work experience.
A merit list is prepared, and selected candidates are informed through email and the IMI website.

6. Admission Offer

Selected candidates receive an admission offer letter.
Candidates must confirm their acceptance by paying the first instalment of the program fee within the stipulated time.

7. Documentation

Submission of necessary documents including:

Academic transcripts and certificates.
Work experience certificates (if applicable).
Entrance exam scorecard.
Other documents as specified by IMI.
