MBA (PGPM)
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) offered by IIM Bangalore is a two-year, full-time residential MBA program. Known for its academic rigor and diverse curriculum, the program is designed to develop future business leaders with strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
It consists of six trimesters over two years, with a summer project in between.
At the heart of IIMB is its faculty, comprising over 140 highly qualified researchers, academics, and professionals from leading universities and industries around the globe.

Dual / Double Degree Programs
Students enrolled in the two-year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management can pursue dual degrees through the Double Degree program. IIM Bangalore has partnered with the following three international institutions to offer these programs:

SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Admission Process

1. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) from a recognized university.
Work Experience: While not mandatory for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP), relevant work experience can be beneficial.
CAT Exam: Candidates must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs. International candidates may apply with GMAT scores.

Above cut-offs represent the minimum percentile needed for candidates to qualify for the subsequent stages of the admission process, such as the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

2. Application Process

Online Application: Candidates must fill out an online application form available on the IIMB website. This includes personal details, academic qualifications, work experience, and other relevant information.
CAT/GMAT Scores: Candidates need to enter their CAT registration number and scores. For GMAT, the scores should be sent directly to IIMB.

3. Shortlisting for Interview

CAT/GMAT Scores: Based on the CAT/GMAT scores, candidates are shortlisted for the next stage.
Academic Performance: Past academic performance in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation is considered.
Diversity: Gender and academic diversity are also taken into account to ensure a varied student body.
Work Experience: Quality and duration of work experience are evaluated.

4. Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)

Written Ability Test (WAT): Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a written test which evaluates their written communication skills and critical thinking.
Personal Interview (PI): Candidates are interviewed by a panel comprising faculty members and alumni. The interview assesses the candidate's communication skills, leadership qualities, and suitability for a management career.

5. Final Selection

Composite Score: A composite score is calculated based on CAT/GMAT scores, WAT & PI performance, academic performance, work experience, and diversity factors.
Offer of Admission: Candidates with the highest composite scores are offered admission to the program.

6. Acceptance and Enrolment

Acceptance of Offer: Candidates who receive admission offers must confirm their acceptance by paying the required admission fee.
Document Verification: Candidates need to submit all necessary documents for verification.
Enrolment: Candidates complete the enrolment process and begin their program at IIMB.
