In 1993, the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) was founded with the objective of empowering the youth of India in the field of management through the acquisition of knowledge. The university is dedicated to bridging the distance between the fundamental knowledge of the discipline and its practical applications through its diverse selection of management courses. A team of over 75 full-time professors is educating business professionals on the impact of business strategies and developments on sustainability and ethical issues.

The Association of MBAS (AMBA), Business Graduates Association (BGA), National Board of Accreditation (NBA), SAQS, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) have all granted accreditation to GIM. Additionally, the university is an esteemed member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Enrollment in the management programmes of GIM is a straightforward procedure. The university administers screening tests, including entrance exams and other aptitude tests, for specific programmes. Students are required to verify this particular criterion by accessing the university's official website. The following is a comprehensive list of the fundamental stages that are common to all hybrid mode courses:

Access the admission portal on the program's official website to complete the application form.
Complete the form with the appropriate information and submit it along with the other academic and professional documents requested by the university.
In the event of entrance exam-based programmes, it is necessary to achieve a minimum score that has been predetermined by the university. The remaining admission requirements will be applicable only after you have successfully completed the entrance exams.
You will be contacted by the university's admission committee to submit documents such as resumes, cover letters, SOPs, and LORS after passing the entrance exam, if applicable. Your background check and potential for the programme are assessed by the committee through the examination of these documents.
Upon being selected for the assessment process, you will be required to participate in an additional interview-based screening examination. The university will provide you with an offer letter that includes the blocking amount after you have successfully completed the interview. Your enrollment in the course will be guaranteed upon receipt of the blocking amount prior to the deadline.
Lastly, the programme fee payment (in the mode of your choice) will reserve your spot in the subsequent cohort of the course at GIM.
