The examination pattern of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Online programs is the most commonly opted examination pattern, which includes two major components: internal assessment and end-term examinations.
The internal assessment is conducted to evaluate the practical knowledge and understanding of an individual during an entire semester and the majority of it is evaluated from the assignments, which are assigned to every student at the beginning of every semester, whereas the end-term examinations are conducted to evaluate the overall theoretical understanding of a student throughout a semester. The internal assessment carries 20-30% of the total weightage of marks and the end-term examination carries 70-80%.
