The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a full-time, two-year residential school in business management that is recognized by AICTE. It is based on the 70:30 Learning and Development model. Under this plan, a student working toward a PGDM will spend 70% of their time in job-related, hands-on, and skill-based learning activities that adapt to the needs of the changing business world. For better understanding of management and business principles, PGDM teachers use flexible and high-quality teaching methods such as case study discussions, interactions with CXOs and industry leaders, live projects, business competitions, peer-to-peer learning, classroom discussions, summer internships, and more.

Winter Internship

At RIIM, the first step for students on their way to working for a company is an internship in the winter. This happens during the first semester. Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the PGDM program at RIIM Pune, candidates need to meet the following eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks for General category candidates.
- Minimum 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories (as per government norms).
Entrance Exam Score:
- A valid score in any of the following national-level management entrance exams:

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting

Candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance exam scores and academic performance.
The cutoff scores vary each year depending on the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exams.

2. Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview (PI) round.
The PI is conducted either in person at the RIIM Pune campus or virtually, depending on circumstances.
