IBS Mumbai Admission Process

1. Eligibility Criteria:

A minimum of 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university.
The medium of instruction should have been English. If not, candidates need to provide TOEFL/IELTS/NELT scores.
Final-year students can also apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements before the specified date.

2. Entrance Exam:

IBS Mumbai accepts scores from IBSAT, an entrance exam conducted by IBS for admission across all its campuses.
Alternatively, candidates can apply through valid scores from CAT, GMAT, or NMAT exams.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) scores from the past 2 years are accepted.
CAT (Common Admission Test) scores are considered as per the cutoff set by the institute.
NMAT (by GMAC) scores are also accepted.

3. Selection Process:

Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in IBSAT or other valid entrance exams (CAT/GMAT/NMAT).
Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates participate in group discussions to assess communication and problem-solving skills.
Personal Interview (PI): Post-GD, candidates appear for a personal interview to evaluate their overall personality, academic background, and career aspirations.

4. Application Process:

Candidates can apply online through the official IBS website or offline by purchasing the application form.
After submitting the required documents and application fee, candidates must schedule their participation in IBSAT or submit their CAT/GMAT/NMAT scores.

5. Final Admission Offer:

The final selection is based on the candidate’s entrance exam score, performance in GD-PI, academic background, and work experience (if any).
Selected candidates receive an offer letter and must confirm their acceptance by paying the required fees.
