Alagappa University traces its roots to the visionary Padma Bhushan Dr. RM. Alagappa Chettiar, who founded a series of institutions in the 1950s. Established by an Act of the Tamil Nadu State Legislature in 1985, Alagappa University initially operated as a Unitary type institution and later transitioned to an Affiliating type in 2002. Nestled in a 420-acre lush green campus in Karaikudi, Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu, the university has been a significant presence in the educational landscape.
Established by a Special Act of the Government of Tamil Nadu in May 1985, Alagappa University is dedicated to the advancement of research, development, and dissemination of knowledge. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, the university boasts 49 departments, 9 centres, and 2 constituent colleges on its campus. Additionally, 46 colleges in the districts of Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram are affiliated with the university. Alagappa University offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across its faculties of Arts, Science, Education, and Management.

The examination will be conducted in online mode on the dedicated student's login portal. The students are required to log in there and start attempting the paper. There will be two sections of the examination, Part A which will be consisting 33 MCQS (No negative Marking will be done). And another section of the examination Part B, is a subjective paper and students have to answer these questions on the A4 size sheet.
