In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, Jiwaji University was founded on May 23, 1964. Known for its School of Studies in Neuroscience, which is India's only university-level neuroscience programme funded by the Department of Biotechnology, the university has a distinguished name. Together with prestigious organisations like CSIR, ICMR, DBT, DST, DRDO, and UGC labs and R&D centres, this project offers 10 seats per year and a monthly studentship of Rs. 5,000 to students who deserve it.
