The examination pattern followed by Yenepoya Online is the most commonly opted examination pattern by an online university. The examination at the university is conducted in two steps: internal assessment and end-term examination. These two are the major components of the examination process.
Internal assessments are conducted prior to the end-term examination which carries 20-30% of the total weightage of marks and they are conducted to evaluate the practical understanding of a student through academic activities and evaluating the assignment submitted by the students, that is assigned to every student at the beginning of every semester. Whereas end-term examinations are conducted at the end of every semester, and evaluation is done on the basis of the overall theoretical understanding of the student these end-term examinations carry 70-80% of marks weightage.
Yenepoya Online assists its students in every way possible and guides each student throughout their academic journey at the university. The university assists its students in placement too, and for this, the university has a separate placement cell. The main objective of the placement cell of Yenepoya Online University is to bridge the gap between a job applicant (student) and a potential employer by offering placement drive with top leading companies and to prepare students for placement, the university organizes regular workshops, lectures or webinars from professionals of the industry, and many more activities which enhance the skills of a student and give a boost to their personality and confidence.
